Mirona is a self-taught artist based in rural Thailand who specializes in digital and physical paintings of biological beings; from the majesty of wild fauna to the very human condition with which we are all afflicted. Mirona’s interest in the behavioral patterns and unique anatomy of wild and human life comes from his passion as a biology teacher; a position he has held for over 10 years. The knowledge gained from this profession and the years of prior education has allowed him to depict the natural world in unique and believable ways. 

Each creation is a distinct result of his experience, including from his childhood growing up in a small farming community very close to nature. His exploration of the variety of life surrounding us seeks to blend the lines between reality and the fantastical and help us to discover the ever-present animal within ourselves. 

Mirona continues to improve his craft and work towards bringing the joy of biology to the art world and beyond through a variety of styles and forms.
